This is to inform the general public that the University Senate, at its 71st Regular Meeting held on Wednesday, 25th September, 2013, approved the procedure for inter-University transfer of studentship, as follows:
Procedure for Transfer of Studentship to the Redeemer's University
A prospective candidate seeking transfer to Redeemer's University should go through the following procedure:
a. Write an application to the Registrar, indicating the intention to transfer to the Redeemer's University.
b. Request the current University to forward a copy of his/her academic transcripts to the Registrar, Redeemer's University.
c. Visit any of the E-Tranzact partner banks to pay the sum of N6,500.00 only for the Redeemer's University Application Form.
d. Visit adms.run.edu.ng or www.run.edu.ng to complete the Application Form, online. Print the Acknowledgment Slip and attach all relevant documents.
e. Candidates shall attend interview to be conducted by a Sub-Committee of Committee on Undergraduate Admissions Screening Exercise (candidates shall be duly notified).
f. Submit copies of all necessary documents (SSSCE Results, UTME Result, Secondary School Testimonial, Birth Certificate) to the Admissions Officer in the Academic Affairs Office.
g. Collect Inter-University Transfer Form from the Academic Affairs Office, upon the presentation of evidence of payment of application fee. The Form is to be completed by the appropriate Officers of the current University, as well as the appropriate Officers of Redeemer's University.
Internal Procedure
a) Candidate's transcripts and other documents are forwarded to the respective Department/College for comments/recommendations and thereafter, to the Registrar and the Vice-Chancellor for approval if recommendations are favourable/positive.
b) Admission Letter is issued to the candidate.
c) Thereafter, the candidate is requested to commence the registration exercise, and complete the Affidavit of Good Conduct.
d) Candidate shall provide a letter of guarantee of good behaviour from parent/guardian.
e) Approval for transfer shall be limited to 100 Level and 200 Level only for a four-year degree programme, and up to 300 Level for five-year degree programme in the Redeemer's University.
Transfer is subject to availability of space in the proposed Department/Programme.
