Lagos – Studies by researchers in the US has shown that one in every 200
teenagers claim to have fallen pregnant without having had sex, Metro reports.
The
researchers from the University of North Carolina interviewed 7870
teenagers over 14-years and published their findings in the British
Medical Journal (BMJ).
It was also reported that the girls who
claimed to be virgins when they fell pregnant, it was more likely that
their parents had minimal communication with them about sex and birth
control.
