Rivers state get Boko Haram scare

Port Harcourt - The Rivers State police on Sunday arrested 320 Boko Haram suspects, according to Thisday.

The  suspects were arrested at the border between Rivers and Imo States, and were being transported in 17 buses.

The source also said the buses belong to a transport company owned by a former Inspector General of Police (IG) and had departed from Jigawa State.

Rivers State Commissioner of Police, Joseph Mbu, said that the police will only confirm if the suspects were members of the Boko Haram sect after conducting investigations.
